The Gospel is Embodied in Jesus (1:14)

• The eternal, personal, divine Word of God became flesh.
  • The eternal one entered into __________.

• It was essential for our salvation that Jesus would become a man.

The Gospel is Explained in Jesus (1:14-18)

• Jesus and the Tabernacle: “He dwelt among us.” (14)
