Scripture Reading: Galatians 1:1-5
Memory Verse: "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Galatians 1:3-5

God sends a message to His church through Paul’s Letter to the Galatians.

1. A message of Conversion! Acts 9

It is written from one convert to other converts.
It is written so that others can be converted in the future.
The gospel was in danger of being corrupted.

2. A message of Calling! Romans 11:13 ,Galatians 2:8

It defends the calling of Paul as an apostle.
Paul was an Apostle to the Gentiles. He was sent under God’s command!

3. A message of Conflict! Acts 15

Some were attacking Paul’s message and calling.
It proclaims that Apostleship is from God, not men or a man.

4. A message to the Church! Verse 2

It from the Church, Paul and those with Him
It is for the Church! Those who Paul evangelized!

5. A message that glorifies Christ!

Jesus does call!
Jesus died for our sins to rescue!
Jesus dispenses grace and peace!
Jesus displays the will of the Father!

So What?

Have you been converted?
What is your calling?
Are you embroiled in conflict?
Are you a churchman?

Victory In Jesus

Memory Verse: "The Lord works out everything to its proper end - even the wicked for a day of disaster." Proverbs 16:4
Scripture Reading: Esther 9 & 10

God’s victory is shared with His people!

1. God’s victorious people are those who have joined Him through faith in Jesus! v. 8:17

2. God gives the victory by “turning the tables” against those who hate Him! v. 9:2

The World Authority is used for God’s people
The World’s people are in fear of God’s people
The World’s weapons have not destroyed God’s people
The World’s pride is brought to humiliation: vs. 9:7-10, 13-14

3. God’s people should celebrate the victory of God! vs. 9:18-19, 21-28

Christians do this every Sunday! 1 Corinthians 16:2, Acts 20:7
Look forward, in joy, to the coming Day of the Lord!

a. Remains Unfulfilled: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
b. Return is Unexpected: 1 Thessalonians 5:2
c. Reveals Undeniably: 2 Peter 3:10
4. God’s people can experience personal victory in life! v. 10:3

Rewarding Work
Respect from your peers
Worked for the good of others
Worked for God’s purpose and people

SO WHAT?

Experience and remember the victory of your salvation.
Commit to live in victory every day in your relationships and work.
Expect God to reverse the circumstances of defeat. Wait and work in faith.
Celebrate joyfully!
